A Vashon practice is usually on well water and septic, which puts a real ceiling on how much water a visit can put down a drain. For a clinical scope that changes method rather than standard: more controlled damp-mopping and measured dilution, less flood-and-extract.

About Vashon

Vashon Island is unincorporated, reachable only by ferry, and largely on well water and septic — which is not a detail a cleaning company gets to ignore, because it limits how much water a visit can reasonably put down a drain. Housing runs older, many properties are on acreage, and the island’s working artists and small farms mean a lot of homes have a studio or an outbuilding attached to the scope.

What medical & dental office cleaning covers

Clean medical exam room with fresh table paper, wiped counters and a glossy vinyl floor

A medical office is not a harder version of an office. It is a different job. Surfaces are zoned, some rooms have a required dwell time on the disinfectant, and the difference between clean and compliant is written down by somebody who does not work for us.

Heritage cleans clinics, dental practices, and specialty offices to an infection-control standard: separate colour-coded microfiber for operatories and restrooms, EPA-registered disinfectants applied for their full contact time, and a documented route so no room is finished out of order.

We agree the boundary at the walkthrough and put it in writing — which surfaces we clean, which we never touch, where our waste stream ends and yours begins. In a clinical space, an improvised decision at nine at night is how a practice ends up with a problem it cannot explain to an inspector.

Common questions

Do you handle biohazard or sharps waste?

No. Regulated medical waste stays with your licensed disposal vendor, and we do not touch sharps containers beyond cleaning the surfaces around them. We handle general waste and the cleaning itself. That line is written into the scope before the first visit.

Can you clean while the practice is open?

Most practices prefer after the last patient, and that is what we recommend — dwell times are easier to honour in an empty operatory. If you need a midday reset between blocks of appointments, say so at the walkthrough and we will schedule it as its own visit.

Do you use our disinfectant or yours?

Yours, if your practice mandates a specific product. Many do, and we would rather use the one your protocol names than argue for ours. If you have no requirement, we use EPA-registered disinfectants and tell you which.

Will the same crew clean our office every time?

Yes. A clinical route takes time to learn and re-teaching it every week is where mistakes come from. You get the same people, and Doraneli walks the space herself before anyone starts.

Tell us about the space and we will come back with a written scope and a number. No obligation, and no pressure if the answer turns out to be no.
